ATHENA advises Tikedo (White Bridge Investments) on the acquisition of Confezioni Plax
Tikedo, a leading Southern European group in the labelling sector with revenues of approximately €90 million and part of White Bridge Investments' portfolio, has acquired a majority stake in Confezioni Plax, an Italian company specialising in flexographic printing of flexible packaging primarily for the food sector. The stake was sold by the Leonelli family.
In this transaction, Tikedo was assisted by ATHENA on financial and tax due diligence, with a team comprising partner Luisa Spadari, managers Giada Mancini and Mattia Platino, consultant Donatella Veroux, and analyst Donato Greco.
Plax's directors and shareholders, Marco and Massimo Leonelli, will continue to lead the company alongside Tikedo's management team. Confezioni Plax, with over 60 years of experience in the sector and its operational headquarters in Savignano sul Rubicone, serves clients across various segments, including food, healthcare and biomedical, and recorded revenues of approximately €10 million in 2025.
The transaction is part of Tikedo's growth path, further consolidating its positioning in Italy and expanding its offering with entry into the flexible packaging printing market, in line with the group's strategy of building an integrated industrial platform through the aggregation of complementary businesses.
