Giorgio Elefante has a long and articulate experience in management and financial consulting and has held senior positions in Italy and abroad-particularly in the Canton of Ticino, the EMEA region, and on a global scale-which have enabled him to develop deep general management and functional skills.
Previously he was, for about 4 years, General Manager of DOpla S.p.A., a leading industrial group in its sector, dealing with the pandemic emergency and the commercial and technological transformations induced by a changed regulatory framework. Between 2002 and 2019, he worked at PwC, in the Deals (Corporate Finance) and Consulting (Strategy) business lines, assuming responsibility for coordinating the development of professional activities carried out within the automotive industry at the Italian level, the automotive industry distribution sector at the EMEA level and, as Global Relationship Partner, serving clients belonging to the Exor group at the global level. Even earlier, he gained his expertise in governance, strategy, organization and family business at Ambrosetti - The European House.

In his professional career, he has developed extensive knowledge and practical experience with the challenges of family businesses: generational transition, professional development and inclusion in the organizational context of members of the new generation, management managerialization, opening up the structure to third parties, and recourse to the capital market. He has worked in corporate crisis contexts, both as a professional and as a holder of apical responsibilities, with recourse to the Institutes provided for by the new Crisis Code in Italy and to the instruments of emergency finance in Spain, the Czech Republic, Poland and the UK.
The economic sectors in which he has been involved in consulting and management activities are: Automotive and Mobility, Entertainment & Media, Consumer Goods (particularly food, drug, tableware and food packaging), Fashion, Furniture and Luxury Goods.
