Supervision activity on banking and financial system
On October 10th, 2018 Riccardo Andriolo, Athena's Senior Partner, participated as speaker at the Conference about the Supervision activity on banking and financial system, with a focus on the inspections by the authorities (Bank of Italy and BCE).
The main topic of the speech was the crisis management of banking and financial intermediaries, with a focus on:
- Italian crisis management model for not relevant intermediaries;
- Supervision and crisis management: potential synergies;
- Main features of the special procedures for crisis management: “gestione provvisoria”, “amministrazione straordinaria” and “liquidazione coatta amministrativa”;
- Tasks and responsibilities for corporate bodies during crisis management procedures;
- Impacts of the European Union laws on the crisis resolution and management.
The conference was held at the Commissione Nazionale per le Società e la Borsa ("CONSOB"), Milan Headquarter.
