ATHENA advises Gruppo Selini (Chequers Capital) on the acquisition of Raicar Service
Gruppo Selini, a historic company based in Bergamo active since 1969 and controlled by Chequers Capital, has acquired a 75% stake in Raicar Service, a Toyota Material Handling dealer with over forty years of experience in the rental, sale and servicing of forklift trucks across the provinces of Cuneo, Asti, Savona and Imperia.
In this transaction, Gruppo Selini was assisted by ATHENA on financial and tax due diligence, with a team comprising partner Luisa Spadari, manager Giada Mancini and analyst Donato Greco.
The acquisition is part of Gruppo Selini's growth plan based on the integration of historic, locally rooted businesses. The aim is to combine the logistics resources and expertise of the two organisations to offer clients a faster service network and a wider fleet, while maintaining direct management and local ties.
With this transaction, Gruppo Selini strengthens its presence in Piedmont and Liguria, key regions for Italian logistics and industrial handling.
